6 Days

There are 6 days left in our “Think of others First” Chanllenge! How are you doing?

If you were not that successful the first day, that’s okay, it takes time to form habits. I’m not exactly sure how many people read this everyday, but I’d like to get a collection of about 5 stories about how you are attempting to incorporate this challenge into your life. Tomorrow’s blog will include mine; you can put your’s in the comments section, or if you’d like to guest-blog about it, let me know!

Here’s a little tidbit from Oswald Chambers’ devotional today:

But when the darkness of dismay comes, endure until it is over, because out of it will come the ability to follow Jesus truly, which brings inexpressibly wonderful joy.

We learn things in so many different ways in life. Sometimes it’s through the “darkness of dismay,” and sometimes through complete joy. If you are in a time of dismay or confusion, I want to encourage you today to endure it through the end. I know that that may not sound like the most encouraging word, but some of the most joyful people I know on this planet have gone through some of the toughest things in life.
